Zong Yi a young man who aspires to be a doctor, is forced to take the injured gangster, Ze Rui to his own house and take care of the latter. As time goes by, the two get familiar and fall in love with each other. However, because of a gangster fight, Zong Yi takes the rap for Ze Rui andends up in jail. The two are so torn apart, their friends, Eddy and Chen Yi also go their separate ways. Four years later, fate reunites the four of them again. They have to face past mistake and regret to get their happiness back

Zong Yi, un joven que aspira a ser médico, se ve obligado a llevar al gángster herido, Ze Rui, a su propia casa y cuidar de éste. Con el paso del tiempo, ambos se familiarizan y se enamoran. Sin embargo, a causa de una pelea entre gángsters, Zong Yi carga con la culpa de Ze Rui y acaba en la cárcel.
